Day 5 of waiting

Millionaire!

Hello everyone! Today is day 5 of the 15 day waiting period. Zhanna and I are doing fine...discovered it WAS my recipe she didn't like. Cross bananas and rice off of the list of foods for Zhanna. Cream of wheat is her cereal of choice apparently. She seems to like bathing in the turtle tub (thanks for the idea Heather)--the bath toys are minimal as you can see, but she has fun anyway. The windchill is -23 degrees, so I guess we are inside for another day. I have found some TV though--as you can see Millionaire is on here! There are many differences though, in addition to the language (they do use the English ABCD though). The prize starts at 200 Tenge, which is approximately $1.52 in USD, and there are 15 levels, all the way up to 5 million Tenge, which is approximately $37,879. Actually, 5 million Tenge sounds like a lot more than that. I have gotten about a fourth of the questions correct--mostly by the old adage "When in doubt Charley out (pick C).
Prices here are very inexpensive for necessity items, and much more for convenience items. For example, a loaf of bread is about 20 Tenge, or $.15, and rolls are 14 Tenge each. The baby food jars are about 232 Tenge a jar, or about $1.76. Foods that are already prepared and frozen are few and far between--no Lean Cuisine here.
Well, I guess that is enough culture lesson for today--maybe I will go wake up Zhanna and she if she wants to play Eensy Wensy Spider again. By the way--how many verses are there really to Cumbahyah? Please ignore spelling--you know what I'm saying!!

Hey Chris,
Here's Kumbaya:
Kumbaya, my Lord, Kumbaya (3x)
Oh Lord, Kumbaya
Someone's singing my Lord, Kumbaya (3x)Oh Lord, Kumbaya
Someone's crying...
Someone's hoping...
Someone's dancing...
Someone's laughing...
Kumbaya...
...Oh Lord, Kumbaya

(There is a website with lyrics to children's songs, I'll email it to you, hope you can open it! Then Zhanna can have some variety!)
Claire loves Row Row Row your Boat (and I hold her and rock back and forth with her), If You're Happy and You Know it Clap Your Hands, I sing BINGO and change it to "There was a girl who had a dog and Murph was his name-o" she loves it!
Then there's The Farmer in the Dell and Ring Around the Rosie (you can play with objects).
Have Fun! I love that you're doing Movement and Music time with her every day, that wonderful!
Can't wait to see you guys!
