Zhanna
and
Grammie

Zhanna

Hello all!! Today was a busy day---had to clean the house before the cleaning lady came--don't want her to think we are messy!!--then walked to the mall. We had to get more water--very heavy water at that!! Next time we go to the grocery store with the driver we will get many many waters!
We are all doing well--Grammie has taught Zhanna that if you cry in the crib you get picked up and cuddled. Or if you whine, or if you look at Grammie with those big brown eyes, or etc. etc. etc. She is a quick study all right!
Not too much to report today, should know more about a date to come home by early next week--might be home in less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to wait for a new passport and birth certificate from Astana, a city about 3 hours drive north. After that, we go to Almaty to get the Visa and have the physical from an American doctor at the embassy to be sure she is healthy and not bringing any disease back to the states.
Hope to see you all soon!!

It would appear that your mother is just as taken with her new granddaughter as Zhanna is with her. It must be so great to finally be able to talk to someone.... your poor mother, I'm sure you haven't given her a moments rest. Can't wait for you to get home. Be well and safe
Love
Sharon
